About This Concert

This show is now sold out!

Fierce talent and award-winning artists: that’s what you’ll get from The Davidson/Therrien Quintet at BuckingJam Palace on January 31, 2025.  It’s BJP’s annual tradition to collaborate with the Alberta Chapter of Women Band Directors International (WBDI) to support and celebrate their vital work in educating and encouraging girls and women in jazz.  This concert features the faculty for WBDI’s Girls in Jazz Workshop:  this is a rare opportunity to hear outstanding artists from Montreal, Toronto, Winnipeg, Edmonton and Calgary brought together for one weekend to  share their knowledge and music and inspire the next generation!

Featuring:

  • Tara Davidson – Alto Saxophone
  • Rachel Therrien – Trumpet
  • Michelle Gregoire – Piano
  • Tetyana Haraschuk – Drums
  • Aretha Tillotson – Bass

Good to Know

Fifty-five seats, so every seat counts. If you cannot use your ticket, pass it to a friend and ask them to give the original purchaser's name at the door.

Our ticket policy explains how passing a ticket on works.

The band generally plays two sets with a short break between them.

No need to print your ticket. Names are on a list at the door.
