Sponsorship and Leadership Gifts
Businesses, foundations and leadership donors can underwrite a concert, a series, or a project of the BJP Music Foundation, and be credited for it in the room and on the site.
What Sponsorship Pays For
Presenting a concert means paying performance fees, flying artists to Calgary, housing them, tuning the piano, insuring the room, and, out of the house, renting the venue and the instrument and hiring sound and front-of-house staff. A series multiplies that. A project, such as the Canadian Women in Jazz poster or the children's sound book, adds design, printing and distribution.
Sponsorship is what has made BJP's larger productions possible. The three-concert Oscar Peterson series in 2024 was produced with ICM Asset Management and Admiral Law, and the Benny Green concerts in 2025 with Yamaha Canada, Admiral Law and the Oscar Peterson Estate.
