Harry Bartlett’s Mountain Air – Matinee

Get ready for an evening of rich, heartfelt melodies as BJP brings the warmth of acoustic strings to the living room. Harry Bartlett’s approach to acoustic guitar has been influenced by his time in Nashville, where he spent time studying with esteemed bluegrass guitarist Jordan Tice and collaborating with some of the city’s foremost folk musicians. While still grounded in the methodology of jazz improvisation, his newest release Mountain Air, offers shades of bluegrass, old time, and folk styles, influenced by his jazz-folk cohort of Aline Homzy on violin and Andrew Downing on bass. Their chemistry and Bartlett’s delicate touch will transport you to another time and place, offering an intimate and immersive musical experience.
